A woman called police after she discovered boxes of her china antiques were stolen from her Lincoln Park house.

According to a police report, someone got into the house, on Arlington, between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. May 21.

The homeowner told police the house was locked during that time and there was no sign of forced entry.

A total of five boxes of antique glassware is missing.

The value of the china was not disclosed.

Police were called to a house on Cleophus after a resident said she was scammed out of an undisclosed amount of money.

The woman told police a man told her if she sent him an undisclosed amount of money she would get $150,000.

The report said the woman was given a name and was told to send cash via the U.S. Postal Service to that individual, which she did.

It wasn’t long before the woman was contacted again and told she could receive $500,000 if she sent an additional undisclosed amount of money.

The woman said she then realized she was being scammed.
